Man’s body found along South Boulevard

Police say they believe the man whose body was discovered along South Boulevard on Wednesday morning died of natural causes.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the body was discovered before 10 a.m. next to a business in the 4500 block of South Boulevard. That is about a quarter-mile north of Woodlawn Road.

Police said detectives responded to the scene and have launched a death investigation. However, foul play is not suspected at this time.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will make a final determination on the cause of death, police said.
