Motorists are reminded as we start this work week that the Eastway Drive Bridge is closed.
The bridge was closed last week, between Howie Circle and Curtiswood Drive, and will not reopen until late December. The closure is part of construction on the light rail line extension.
The detour route is Sugar Creek Road. Motorists who want to travel between the Plaza and North Tryon Street can use Matheson Avenue as an alternate route.
