Police search for Family Dollar robbery suspect

Police are searching for this suspect in Thursday’s robbery of the Family Dollar at at 4611 W. Tyvola Road.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed the Family Dollar at 4611 W. Tyvola Road on Thursday.

The man, who had a gun, is described as black, in his late 20s to early 30s with a mustache, low haircut and possible goatee.

He was last seen wearing a white tank top, black pants and white sneakers. He also had a white towel covering his head and part of his neck, police said.

The suspect was last seen on foot heading outbound on West Tyvola Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. Joe Marusak
