Who’s Hot/Who’s Not

HOT

Aric Almirola: Welcome to the NASCAR’s Winner’s Club ... and the Chase.

Austin Dillon: Two top-10s this season and both at Daytona.

Alex Bowman: At the right place at the right time for a career-best finish.

Kasey Kahne: Won the Nationwide race at Daytona – he’ll take them any way and anywhere he can.

Regan Smith: Back in the Nationwide Series points lead.

Ryan Sieg: Nationwide career-best third-place finish at Daytona.

NOT

Elliott Sadler: Late-race wreck wiped away his lead in Nationwide Series.

Weather: Still the biggest thorn in NASCAR’s side this season.

NASCAR: The eventual outcome may have remained the same, but calling a race at 3 p.m. is not giving it every opportunity to run entire event.
