OSU's Walsh nominated for Good Works Team

STILLWATER, Okla. Oklahoma State quarterback J.W. Walsh has been nominated for the 2014 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.

Walsh is one of 182 players nominated for the award that recognizes charitable and community service contributions.

Walsh has been active with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, made several hospital visits to spend time with children, and has met with children at multiple elementary schools. He also volunteered time to help with tornado cleanup efforts following the May 20, 2013, tornado in Moore.

Walsh played in eight games and started five for the Cowboys in 2013.
