Charlotte’s suds scene gets an edgy upgrade with the arrival of UK-based brand Lush at SouthPark Mall this summer. The fragrant emporium features handmade soaps, balms, and hair goods. But it’s the chic shop’s mounds of colorful bath bombs and playful ice cream pint-like tubes and creams that have made it an international favorite for those looking to lather up. Our advice? Skip your next spa trip and indulge in a few of the frothy, fizzing bombs like the Butterball with its delicate vanilla scent or the Secret Garden that bursts open with flower petals in your tub. 4400 Sharon Rd., www.lush.com
