Your wedding party can be expected to spend a pretty penny on your wedding weekend and the months leading up to it: engagement parties, showers, dresses, shoes, travel and lodging. Its nice to spend a little money on them and give them a gift thanking them for their time, effort and friendship. Some of my favorite gifts for maids are practical and will fit in most budgets:
You cant go wrong with a monogrammed piece for your girls. Whether its a necklace, a ring, a shirt, or even a tote, its a staple piece that they can wear/use over and over again. The only dilemma with a monogrammed item is if your girls are engaged themselves, in that case, go with first name monograms! Etsy offers a ton of seller options for monogrammed items, heres one option that I loved!
Robes for you and your maids:
I was recently in a wedding where the bride got us robes from Pretty Plum Sugar to get ready in and use for years to come. They are so adorable and not to mention comfortable! We were all tickled pink to slip into these are start the wedding festivities!
Clutches have been popular recently:
I gave my girls pearl bracelets and these ikat clutches fromC. Wonder. These particular clutches are no longer available; however, clutches are easy to find at local boutiques, online (Etsy!), or even at designer stores like J. Crew. Finding an item that can be used beyond the wedding day will be appreciated!
Shoes for the wedding:
One of my favorite bridesmaid gifts Ive received, are my Jack Rogers sandals. The bride knew she wanted everyone to wear them and decided to purchase them as our gifts. Two years later and these guys are still as shiny as the day I got them.
You dont have to splurge to show you appreciate your bridesmaids, thoughtfulness goes a long way. Consider their style in your decision, consider how often theyll use the item, and try to make it personal if you can!
