CLOVER Deputies charged a Clover woman with assault after they say she bit a man on his chest, punched a second man in his eye and then told authorities that she wished she had hit him harder Sunday, according to police documents.

Deputies at about 3 a.m. were sent to a Forest Music Drive home, near Filbert Highway, after receiving calls about a fight, according to a York County Sheriff’s report. When they arrived, they found Kelly Nicole Ellis, 30, fighting with another woman, 26, on the living room floor. Officers separated both women and detained them.

A man, 41, told deputies Ellis punched him in the eye, the report states. A second man, 35, claimed that Ellis bit him on the left side of his chest. When deputies questioned Ellis about the man she punched in the eye, she told them she wished she hit him harder. Deputies arrested Ellis and charged her with third-degree assault and battery.

“All parties involved,” deputies wrote in the report, “were extremely intoxicated.”
