Mooresville police are looking for this man in connection with a robbery Tuesday afternoon at the Fifth Third Bank branch on River Highway.

Mooresville police are studying surveillance video in an effort to find the man who robbed a bank at gunpoint late Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery was reported shortly before 5 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank branch in the 400 block of River Highway. Police are not sure how the man got away, and they said a manhunt immediately after the robbery failed to turn up a suspect.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s, about 5-foot-7 and 175 pounds, with brown hair. He was wearing a white or plaid long-sleeved button-up shirt, a black hat, dark sunglasses and light-colored jeans.

Police did not say how much money was stolen.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Mooresville police at 704-664-3311.
