PAGELAND, S.C. A Lancaster man bought a lottery ticket on a hunch and it paid off.

"Something told me to get a ticket," said the unidentified Lancaster man who won $200,000 after purchasing a Palmetto Cash 5 quick pick from In & Out Mini Mart on W. McGregor St. in Pageland. His ticket matched all five numbers – 8, 10, 17, 19 and 37 – drawn, according to a release from the S.C. Education Lottery.

"I’ve been blessed," the winner said in the release.

Spending the extra $1 for Power-Up doubled his $100,000 prize from the drawing on July 29 to $200,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, In & Out Mini Mart in Pageland received a commission of $2,000.
