Shooting suspect Thomas Michael Dunlap

Albemarle police on Tuesday identified a man they are seeking in connection with a non-lethal shooting in the town on Monday.

Police said they are looking for Thomas Michael Dunlap, who they consider armed and dangerous, and are obtaining a warrant against him on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

On Monday at 12:32 p.m., someone entered a home in the 2000 block of Callaway Street, got into a confrontation with a man there and shot the man in the leg before fleeing in a dark blue auto.
