Hudson man sentenced for abusing infant

A 22-year-old Hudson man was sentenced to at least six years and eight months in prison this week after he was convicted of abusing his infant. Justin Paige Shoemake was sentenced for felony child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury.

The infant was less than a year old when injured in 2012, District Attorney James Gaither Jr. said Friday. The infant suffered 11 leg, skull and rib fractures, Gaither said. Joe Marusak
