By Steve Lyttle

Eleven people on a US Airways flight from Charlotte to Frankfurt were treated by Medic late Monday night after an odor was reported on the jet.

The crew of US Airways Flight 706 returned to Charlotte Douglas International Airport a short time after the jet left about 8 p.m. for the flight to Germany.

Some type of odor was reported on the aircraft, according to reports.

Medic reported treating 11 people. Four of them were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with injuries described as not life-threatening.

The other seven were treated at the airport, Medic said.

Flight 706 left again for Frankfurt about 2 a.m., according to flight-tracking websites. Steve Lyttle
