Overnight construction work will close lanes on Interstate 85 and the John Belk Freeway late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation.

Crews will perform routine maintenance, according to the DOT. They are scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Monday, closing the right two lanes of southbound I-85 at Graham Street.

When that work is completed, crews will move to the John Belk Freeway, closing the right lane on the outer loop near the Church Street interchange.

All work is scheduled to be finished by 5 a.m. Tuesday.
