Shelby vice/narcotics officers confiscated at least 22 grams of marijuana and recovered a Kel-Tec 9 mm handgun and other stolen property, after executing a search warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of McBrayer Street on Friday, Police Chief Jeff Ledford announced Tuesday.

The recovered property had been stolen in Shelby, Gastonia and Charlotte, Ledford said.

Charges will be filed but are pending further investigation, the chief said.
