Volunteers still needed for Charlotte’s dental marathon

Organizers still need dentists and other volunteers for Charlotte’s 36-hour free dental clinic.

The North Carolina Missions of Mercy clinic at the Charlotte Convention Center starts seeing patients at 6 a.m. Friday.

Volunteers are needed to help with registration and setup starting at midnight.

Dentists are still needed to fill six-hour shifts from 6 p.m. Friday through 6 p.m. Saturday, said event co-chair Dr. Evan Miller.
