Charlotte Hornets to play 3 exhibitions at Time Warner Cable Arena

The Charlotte Hornets unveiled their new playing floor at Time Warner Cable Arena during a June 26, 2014 press conference. Besides the new Hornets logo at center court the floor features a honeycomb pattern.

The Charlotte Hornets will play three of their eight exhibitions this preseason at Time Warner Cable Arena.

The Hornets will again host middle school students for an Oct. 15 match-up with the Detroit Pistons. The team will also be at TWC for exhibitions against the Orlando Magic on Oct. 13 and the Indiana Pacers on Oct. 23.

The only other exhibition in the Carolinas is against the Washington Wizards on Oct. 10 in Greenville, S.C.

Hornets preseason schedule:

Oct. 8 at Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m.

Oct. 10 vs. Washington Wizards in Greenville, S.C. (Bon Secours Wellness Arena), 7 p.m.

Oct. 13 vs. Orlando Magic, 7 p.m.

Oct. 15 vs. Detroit Pistons, 11 a.m. (Cool School Field Trip)

Oct. 17 at Washington Wizards, 7 p.m.

Oct. 19 at Chicago Bulls, 8 p.m.

Oct. 20 at Atlanta Hawks, 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 23 vs. Indiana Pacers, 7 p.m.
