Receiver Steve Smith has been pretty good with a quote this season. Here's some memorable lines Smith has come up with:
"I'm not dipping up in that can of chili." On whether he thought the coaching staff could do more to get him the ball.
"I can't worry about what's going on in somebody else's kitchen. I've got grilled cheese burning on the stove myself." His reaction to quarterback Jake Delhomme's early season struggles.
"I want to be on the field. I'm too ugly of a cheerleader to carry pom-poms and (wear) a skirt." After catching two TD passes against Atlanta.
"He probably won't be in because he's being played repeatedly on the rotation on ESPN." On Dallas cornerback Orlando Scandrick, who had struggled the week before the Cowboys played the Panthers.
"I'm no longer an asset to this team." After catching one pass against Tampa Bay.
