A US Airways flight from Charlotte to Los Angeles was diverted Tuesday when a passenger removed all of his clothes and refused to put them back on.
The passenger, who has not been identified, was arrested when the plane landed at Albuquerque International Sunport Airport in New Mexico.
A passenger told CNN that the man appeared to fall asleep, but then started taking his clothes off. He refused to cooperate with flight attendants and threw off a blanket that was placed over him.
Marius Langlete told CNN that he was sitting across the aisle from the man and he helped another passenger -- who happened to be a Los Angeles police officer -- restrain the man.
About 45 minutes after the man undressed, the plan landed and he was taken into custody by the FBI.
