Dec. 6: Spread holiday joy to the homeless
Around the holidays, have you found yourself trying to find a way for your entire family to give something back, but with little luck? We have the perfect event that any child can help with! Bring the whole family to the Gymboree in Ballantyne on Sunday, Dec. 6, from 1-5 p.m. to stuff stockings that will go to local homeless children.
We're teaming up with Birthday Blessings, which throws birthday parties for homeless children, and Little Ones Magazine for the event. You bring the stuff for the stocking -- pick an age and gender and purchase stocking-sized gifts. Gift store Peppermint Forest is providing the stockings!Afterwards, the kids can enjoy playing on the Gymboree equipment or make a garland craft, donated by Phoenix Trading. We'll have light treats for everybody.
