Living Room Reading Series, “The Graduate” – 4 p.m. Jan. 19, Old Courthouse Theatre, 49 Spring St. N.W., Concord. Free reading of a play by Terry Johnson; based on the novel by Charles Webb and the motion picture screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry; by special arrangement with StudioCanal. Produced and directed by Jonathan M. Ewart, “The Graduate” brings the movie hit of the ’60s to life on stage. Benjamin Braddock, recent college graduate and prodigal son, returns home and promptly becomes embroiled in an affair with the wife of his father’s business partner, one Mrs. Robinson, but falls in love with her daughter, Elaine.
