Ardrey Kell girls’ tennis was undefeated in the regular season and made it to the NCHSAA 4A state championship match Nov. 2 in Burlington. The Knights lost 5-1 to Cary Panther Creek, but the team still accomplished what they wanted to this season.

When Jerrick Robbins touches the ball, good things happen for Porter Ridge’s football team. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound senior averages 8.5 yards per carry. He has tallied 698 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground through the first eight games. He also has three kickoff returns for touchdowns this season.
