Senior Andy Simmons was the first Myers Park golfer in the clubhouse at the Southwestern 4A conference tournament April 29 at Charlotte National Golf Club. He shot a 68, as did South Mecklenburg’s Will Rainey. It seemed they would have a playoff for the championship.
