Promising only “further dialogue,” Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts and North Carolina’s Republican legislative leaders Thursday offered little information about their first meeting to discuss House Bill 2.
A bevy of law enforcement agencies gathered at Blythe Landing on Lake Norman to urge driving and boating safety want them to love it safely. They kicked off "2016 On the road. On the Water Campaign" by reminding the public about the dangers of operating vehicles on land or water while drinking.
