Alaska-bound, Obama makes waves by renaming Mount McKinley

Shrinking glaciers, Arctic temperatures and a mix of messy energy politics await President Barack Obama on his historic trip to Alaska. Even before he departed, Obama was making waves with a decision to rename Alaska's famed Mount McKinley despite a backlash from Ohio politicians.
After 70 years, Jim Geer retired Sunday from teaching his Fellowship Warriors Sunday school class at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Geer, who's almost 94, became a Sunday school teacher after serving with U.S. Army Gen. George Patton’s 2nd Armored Division in World War II. One night in a foxhole in France, he promised God he'd do whatever the Lord wanted if he made it back home alive.
