OAKLAND, Calif. Stephen Curry, the seventh overall pick in last month's NBA draft, has signed with the Golden State Warriors.

Curry, 21, left Davidson after three seasons. He led the nation in scoring with 28.6 points per game as a junior, and also averaged 4.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.53 steals in 34 games. A 6-foot-3 guard, Curry will begin his professional career this week as a member of the Warriors summer league squad in Las Vegas.
