An eighth-grade student was struck by a car in south Charlotte Monday morning.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, witnesses say the boy darted into traffic on Ardrey Kell Road.
The boy, who is a student at Community House Middle School, was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
