Police are seeking two men wanted in connection with a Sunday morning knife fight that left one man dead and two hospitalized.

Efren Octaviano Aguirre, 16, and Bernardo Octaviano, 27, are wanted for murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

The fight began with a verbal disagreement at a local bar and ended at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Townhomes of Ashbrook at 1939 Eastway Drive, police said.

When the fight was over, 24-year-old Eric Garcia and two others were rushed to Carolinas Medical Center with stab wounds. Garcia died there.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested Carlos Octaviano Andres, 25, for murder Sunday.

On Wednesday, police announced that they had also obtained warrants for Aguirre and Octaviano. They did not issue descriptions or photos of the men. They said both men are armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the men is asked to call CMPD detectives A. Fant at 704-336-8297 or M. Santiago at 704-336-6044, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 704-334-1600.
