A two-vehicle wreck has closed S.C. 5 at the Catawba River bridge, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
A motorist at the scene reports the two vehicles have both sides of S.C. 9 blocked, and nearby Steel Hill Road also is blocked. Traffic is reportedly backed up almost a mile at the wreck scene.
Troopers report the wreck happened about 10:50 a.m., and there were injuries.
Motorists should avoid the area until at least noon.
