Singer-actress Jessica Simpson will return to her country music roots on the night of Saturday, Oct. 11, with a concert before the Bank of America 500 race at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Simpson will perform a 40-minute pre-race concert and sing the national anthem at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. The concert performance is free with the purchase of a ticket to the Bank of America 500.
Her appearance will come just weeks after the Sept. 9 release of her debut country album, "Do You Know."
Tickets for the Bank of America 500 -- round five of the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, start at $29 and can be purchased by calling 1-800-455 FANS or logging onto www.lowesmotorspeedway.com.
