Gastonia police are hoping several photos captured by surveillance cameras at a Walmart store will help officers solve a recent armed robbery.
An employee of Alfred and Charlie's, a barbecue restaurant in Gastonia, was robbed at gunpoint recently. Her purse was taken, and a debit card that was in her purse was used this week at a Walmart store on East Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia.
Police have been able to get surveillance camera photos of three suspects.
In addition, an outdoor camera at the Walmart spotted a burgundy van, similar to the one that was used as a getaway vehicle in the robbery.
Police ask that anyone who can identify any of the three suspects should call Gastonia police, 704-836-0041, or Gaston County Crime Stoppers, 704-861-8000.
