A 6-year-old girl was struck by a car in east Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The girl was taken to Carolinas Medical Center after being hit in the 3700 block of Marvin Road near North Wendover Road.
Authorities haven't released details about the incident, or said whether any charges will be filed against the driver of the vehicle.
The girl's name was not released Wednesday evening and there was no immediate update on her condition.
