Police in Gaston County have added charges against a Lincoln County teen in connection with a chase early Thursday in Gaston, Lincoln and Mecklenburg counties.
In addition, a second man has been charged in the case.
John Robert Miller, 17, of Iron Station, was charged Thursday with a variety of traffic offenses after leading police on a pursuit, much of it on N.C. 16. Now authorities in Gaston County have charged him with possession of stolen goods.
A man who was with him during the pursuit, Paul Swino, 21, of Denver, also was charged with possession of stolen goods.
Police accuse the two men of taking a utility trailer from a Lowe's store in Clover, S.C.
Miller was pulling the trailer behind his pickup truck during the police chase.
