Motorists using U.S. 74 in western Union County are urged to be cautious today, because crews will be working along the roadway.
Department of Corrections work crews are picking up litter on both sides of U.S. 74 near Stallings, until 4 p.m. The cleanup will be from the Mecklenburg-Union county line to Rocky River Road. Crews also will be picking up litter in the median.
There could be some lane closures during the cleanup.
