Duke Energy today named Lynn Good as its new group executive and chief financial officer, replacing David Hauser, who will become chairman and chief executive of FairPoint Communications.
Good had been group executive and president of Duke's commercial businesses for the past 18 months. She had served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Cinergy before its 2006 merger with Duke.
A former partner with Deloitte & Touche, she joined Cinergy in 2003 and will assume her new Duke job on July 1.
Hauser, who joined Duke in 1973, will join Charlotte-based FairPoint on July 1. FairPoint owns local exchange companies in 18 states, providing local and long distance telephone and broadband services. Hauser had been a director since 2005.
