Kings Mountain police said Monday morning that no charges have been filed against the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian before daybreak Saturday.

However, police say they are continuing to investigate the collision that killed 21-year-old Andrew David Bunch of Kings Mountain. He died when he was struck by a vehicle about 5 a.m. on the U.S. 74 Bypass, near the Oak Grove exit.

Police say Bunch was walking along the road when he was struck.
