Police Homicide detectives are looking for a man in connection with an overnight shooting in north Charlotte that left another man fighting for his life.
The shooting happened about 12:15 a.m. at the Shannon Green Condominiums, in the 9400 block of Old Concord Road.
Police were called after witnesses reported hearing gunshots. They found the victim, identified as Jamey Quindonte Thompson, 24, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken by Medic to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Witnesses reported seeing a man, wearing a camouflage mask, running from the scene.
