Spider Man might be a hero to movie fans, but Gastonia police have him on their wanted list.
Or, at least, they're looking for someone who dresses like the comic book and cinema star.
Police say a man wearing a Spider Man mask and all black clothing robbed a store at gunpoint Monday evening. The man took $521 from the Super 10 Variety store in the 1000 block of Linwood Drive, according to a police report.
Police say the man fled after the robbery – apparently, the conventional way, on foot … not by jumping from building to building, like the cinema version of Spider Man.
