Elsewhere

KENTUCKY: Former Wildcats coach Billy Gillispie pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. He entered the plea in Anderson County (Ky.) and received the maximum fine for a first-time offense. He was ordered to pay fines and court costs of a little more than $1,000, his license was suspended for 30 days and he has to complete an Alcohol Drivers Education Program. Gillispie was fired this year after a rocky two-year tenure with the Wildcats.

MINNESOTA: Junior forward Trevor Mbakwe will not be allowed to play for the 25th-ranked Gophers until his pending court case on a felony aggravated battery charge is cleared up. Athletics director Joel Maturi announced his decision on Mbakwe, who faces a December trial for an alleged attack on a woman in Miami in April.

Exhibition

No. 4 KENTUCKY 74, CAMPBELLSVILLE 38: Darnell Dodson scored 19 points and Perry Stevenson and DeMarcus Cousins added 11 each as host Kentucky beat Campbellsville.

Kentucky freshman guard John Wall, who sat out the game as part of an NCAA suspension for accepting illegal benefits from his former AAU coach, watched from the bench in a gray sweat suit.

Wall, a former Raleigh Word of God star, will make his debut on Friday when the Wildcats play Clarion in another exhibition.

Campbellsville, an NAIA school in southern Kentucky, shot 12 percent from the field in the first half as Kentucky built a 36-11 lead.
