Beginning in May, Charlotte-Mecklenburg residents will be able to do just that! Two local institutions – the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture – are joining forces to bring Inside|Out to Charlotte. Artwork was installed along Stewart Creek Greenway on Friday.

Opera Carolina is producing "The Girl of the West," its next show, in collaboration with Italians. The production is something of an international collaboration. Costumes are being made in Italy, sets are being made in Gastonia, and the production is opening here, then traveling to several places in Italy.
