Tree fruit and truffles at Zebra
New at Zebra (4521 Sharon Road): tree fruits (starting with sweet red and gold cherries) from Fruit Bat Produce in Virginia; and the season's first black truffles (served with torchon of foie gras and risotto dishes, and their skins, ground and dried, are seasoning some fleur de sel – salt, y'all). Not new but notable: Friday night wine tastings from 5:30 to 7:30, including light hors d'oeuvres, for $10.
