Romance is on the air this season, as a new TV schedule debuts with several promising shows aimed at the heart.
In the CW's “Valentine, Inc.,” Greek gods live among us, busying themselves with matchmaking, sometimes against the odds. CBS's “Worst Week” pits a klutz against his future in-laws in a slapstick comedy.
Never miss a local story.
On the CW, “90210” and “Privileged” specialize in serial romances, betrayals and other games of the rich and to-be-famous. “Gary Unmarried,” a CBS comedy, takes a look at love from the other side: divorce.
But the best of the bunch is “The Ex List” on CBS, in which Elizabeth Reaser plays Bella Bloom, a successful 30-something who learns from a psychic that she's doomed to a life of singlehood unless she finds her man in the next year. And it shouldn't be a tough job finding Mr. Right, she's advised – he's one of her ex-boyfriends.
Thus she begins the journey back through her list of lost loves to find The One. And what she quickly finds is there was a good reason she broke up with them in the first place.
