Eric Hill, a contestant on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, died Wednesday after his parachute collapsed while paragliding in Utah over the weekend. He was 31.
"Eric shared his final journey with us this morning as all his immediate family were able to be at his side when he passed away," his sister Karen Tracy posted on Facebook.
Hill was placed in a medically induced coma Sunday after his accident in Utah, US Magazine reported.
Since February 2013, Hill has been on a trek called "The Global Odyssey" to travel to every country in the world in fewer than 1,200 days.
