Come dressed as your favorite “Star Wars” character as the team takes on Indianapolis during a theme night that celebrates stuff that happened “a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.” There’ll also be a postgame fireworks display.
7 p.m. Lake Norman High School, 186 Doolie Road, Mooresville. $10 for improv show (tickets: email actorLNHS@gmail.com or call 704-799-8555); minimum $10 donation for meet-and-greet.
The actor best known as Walt Jr. from TV’s “Breaking Bad” will perform with students. Then, 8:30-9:30, he’ll sign autographs and pose for photos (donations will go to Shriners Hospitals for Children).

The veteran alternative rock band returns to ring in the weekend at the weekly concert series, where it undoubtedly will revisit early-1990s hits like “Low” and “Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now).”
