New Carowinds waterslides

The new slides – Surfer’s Swell and Dorsal Fin Drop – will stand more than four stories high and add 600-plus feet of sliding fun to the theme park’s Boomerang Bay.


Modernism + Film

The Bechtler screens “Coast Modern,” a 2012 indie documentary (55 minutes) that contains interviews with the pioneers of West Coast modernist architecture and footage of homes designed in this style.
