Alive After Five will not only be the city’s springboard into the weekend, it will also mark the starting point of uptown’s three-day futbol fandemonium extravaganza. Abbey Road Live, a Beatles tribute band, will take the Commons Area Stage at 5 p.m. Later in the evening, Michael Jackson tribute band Who’s Bad will perform at Rooftop 210.
From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 1, Liverpool FC players will host an autograph and photo session at Whisky River at the EpiCentre. At 7 p.m., there’ll be a celebration kickoff at Rooftop 210 with Jon Wilson of WCCB as host.
