Yiasou Greek Festival runs through Sunday in Dilworth

Check out Hellenic cultural exhibits, entertainment, art, shopping and food at the 37th annual Yiasou Greek Festival, which opens Thursday at 11 a.m.
The festival runs til 9 p.m. Thursday and is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday. It is held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 600 East Blvd. Admission is $3; 12 and younger free. Find more information at yiasoufestival.org.
Dining highlights include dolmades (grape leaves wrapped around ground beef and rice) and spanakopita (layers of phyllo stuffed with spinach and cheese).
Yiasou is the Greek word for “hello,” “goodbye” and “cheers.”
