The comic store “Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find” is presenting, once again, Charlotte’s longest-running comic convention. For free admission, register in advance and bring a nonperishable food donation. Meet some of your favorite comic book artists. Come in costume for a chance to win prizes.
Concord Art Walk

Visual art will be on display all over downtown during the Concord Art Walk. You’ll often find film or live music at these events as well. One highlight will be the opening reception for the “Interactive Lines” exhibit at The Galleries on the first floor of the historic courthouse, 65 Union St. South.
Jazz Guest Artist Concert

The Davidson College Jazz Ensemble will be joined by renowned saxophonist Tim Gordon. Gordon has worked with Harry Connick Jr., Josh Groban, Ray Charles, Manhattan Transfer and Pink Floyd.
Lego Mini Model Build

The first Tuesday of each month, Lego stores offer a free mini build for kids ages 6-14. Kids put together a small Lego kit, usually not available for purchase, and can take it home.
