BLT Steak begins a bi-monthly Craft Dinner Series on March 27, with chef Ben Miles creating a four-course menu to accompany beers from Triple C Brewery.
The dinners are planned for the last Friday of every other month, and beer makers will be on hand to talk about what diners are trying. Cost is $75, plus tax and tip.
On the menu for the debut dinner: honey-marinated black cod with hen of the woods mushrooms, paired with Smoked Amber Ale; confit duck leg with blackeyed peas and sprout hash, with the Cajun Stout; hop-basted New York strip steak with marrow and bone gremolata, with Baby Maker IPA; and caramel pot de crème and a chocolate-dipped pretzel with Triple C's new Chocolate Covered Pretzel Stout.
Upcoming partner breweries: Mother Earth (May 29), Unknown Brewing (July 31) and Olde Mecklenburg (Sept. 25).
