Snap a photo of your plate and Instagram in the “Share My Plate” contest, and Sysco Corporation will donate 50 cents to Share Our Strength, a national hunger relief organization that aims to end childhood hunger in this country.
This is the second year of the Sysco promotion. It runs through April 30. To participate, photograph your meal (at home or out) and Instagram it with the tag #ShareMyPlate; describe the dish, too, and tag the restaurant if you’re in one. If you’re not an Instagrammer, you can submit the photos to Sysco’s Facebook or Twitter pages or go to www.Sysco.com/sharemyplate. (Rules are there, too, including details for Sysco employees who want to play.) For every image shared, Sysco says, it will donate 50 cents to SOS’s No Kid Hungry campaign.
Chef Robert Irvine will judge, seeking “high-quality photos with delicious and appealing items” and you could win $250, $500 or the $1,000 grand prize.
