The Back Porch Brunch May 3 will offer a brunch tasting from 10 area chefs, using lots of foodstuffs from area purveyors, plus beverages from TOPO and Muddy Rivery Distillery and live music.
Piedmont Culinary Guild and Charlotte Center City Partners are presenting the event, at 2151 Hawkins St. (in South End), from noon to 2:30 p.m. It’s part of CCCP’s “Front Porch Sundays” series. (Get it?)
Chefs slated to be on hand: Bonterra’s Blake Hartwick; The Yolk’s Gregory Collier; Earl’s Grocery’s Marc Jacksina; littleSpoon’s Miles Payne; Roosters’ Zack Renner; plus modPALEO’s Brandon Cress and Nick Kepp from First Presbyterian Church; and, from food trucks, Hot Box’s Michael Bowling and Bleu Barn Bistro’s Tara Diamante.
The Punch Room’s Bob Peters (also a PCG member) will be mixing drinks.
